Dr. Mary
Dr. Mary Regina Pham was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama and studied at Auburn University before attending dental school at the University of Southern California. While in dental school, Dr. Mary realized that pediatric dentistry was her passion! She became president of the Pediatric Dental Selective while at USC and organized the first-ever pediatric dental volunteer trip to Vietnam; which still goes on to this day! Dr. Mary then moved to Chicago, Illinois to complete an additional two years of specialty training in pediatric dentistry. She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, which means she is a part of a small percentage of pediatric dental specialists who are board-certified and have demonstrated exceptional knowledge and skill in the specialty of pediatric dentistry. Dr. Mary was named Top 40 Under 40 Dentists in America by Incisal Edge Magazine
Dr. Mary’s philosophy is to provide a warm, inviting, fun, and educational experience to you and your family with exceptional customer service. As a pediatric specialist who receives even the most challenging referrals from other dentists, she is trained to use kid-friendly words and a calm demeanor to make every dental experience an enjoyable one. One of the things that Dr. Mary absolutely loves about pediatric dentistry is having the opportunity to educate parents, patients, and expectant mothers on how to maintain a lifetime of healthy smiles.

Dr. Susan
Dr. Susan Do grew up just to our north in the infamous technology hub, Silicon Valley. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in microbial biology from UC Berkeley and went on to obtain her D.D.S. degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where she graduated with high honors and was elected to join the Tau Kappa Omega Dental Honor Society. As a board-certified pediatric dentist, Dr. Susan believes in early intervention and strives to create an atmosphere that is both fun and nurturing for her patients. She aims to create positive lifelong experiences and hopes her love for dentistry is equally infectious with her patients.
She is a devoted sports fan, particularly when it comes to the SF Giants, Golden State Warriors, and San Francisco 49ers. You can also expect to see Dr. Susan and her husband walking their two pups along the coast.

Dr. Wong
Dr. Kin Cho “Johnson” Wong is a board-certified pediatric dentist who received his training in pediatric dentistry at the Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital/Yale School of Medicine, which is a prestigious teaching institution in the northeast. Prior to that, he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from UCLA School of Dentistry, where he received the Southern California Society of Dentists for Children Award, given to one selected senior for his potential and accomplishment in the field of pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Wong has a compassionate and relatable approach with his patients and parents. With a conservative and comprehensive care philosophy, he is well trained in up-to-date treatment options for different restorations of baby and adult teeth and various behavior management modalities. His goal is to make the entire family feel welcomed, and to begin a positive culture of oral health starting at a young age for his patients.

Dr. Karla
Dr. Karla Basa was born and raised in Long Beach, California and received her degree in biological sciences from the University of Southern California where she graduated on the Dean’s List. A lifelong Trojan, Dr. Karla then continued her studies at USC Dental School where she obtained her D.D.S. degree. In dental school, Dr. Karla volunteered with the USC Mobile Clinic providing dental care to underserved children in the greater Los Angeles area, and it was during this time that she developed her love for pediatric dentistry. She also participated in humanitarian work abroad and volunteered in dental mission trips to Mexico and Honduras.
Dr. Karla is a board-certified pediatric dentist that understands that each child is special and strives to provide personalized care in a warm, inviting, and fun environment. She stays current with the latest information in pediatric dentistry by maintaining active memberships with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Harbor Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.
In her spare time, Dr. Karla enjoys going to concerts, reading, traveling and her favorite meal is brunch.

Dr. Gabby
Dr. Gabriela “Gabby” Cervantes was born and raised in Orange County, CA. With her father in education and her mother as a pediatrician, she was naturally drawn to healthcare. She graduated with the highest honors from California State University Long Beach with a B.S. in biology. She went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery and graduated from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry. She then completed her General Practice Residency at Harbor UCLA medical center where she was awarded “Resident of the Year.” After practicing for several years, she was blessed to find her true passion and received her pediatric dental specialty training at UCLA, where she also received the Award of Excellence Outstanding Resident, which is only given to one selected resident.
As a mother, Dr. Gabby is able to relate to parents and treats each patient as if they were her own children. She is glad to be back in Orange County serving the community.

Dr. Judy
Dr. Judy Yip was born and raised in the northern part of sunny California. She obtained her undergraduate degree at UC San Diego, receiving her D.D.S. at UCLA School of Dentistry, and completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Judy believes that pediatric oral health involves the entire family and aspires to make each dental visit a positive environment for all. Providing high-quality care is important to Dr. Judy, especially when it comes to patient education, dental treatment, and patient-provider relationships.
When Dr. Judy is not holding a handpiece, you can find her keeping busy with DIY projects, hiking, relaxing at the beach, or playing tennis.

Dr. Kristine
Dr. Kristine grew up in Orange County and is happy to call sunny Southern California home! She went to UCLA for her undergraduate degree in Psychobiology and earned her degree as a Doctor in Dental Surgery at USC where she found a passion for helping children through dentistry through local outreaches with Mobile Clinic as well as abroad. In addition to her many extracurricular endeavors, she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a prestigious national dental honor society inviting only the top 12% of graduating dental students.
With a passion for further education, she completed an additional year long hospital residency at UCLA where she trained with anesthesiologists, oral surgeons, and her colleagues in the medical community for advanced training in treating patients with special needs.
Dr. Kristine spent some time on the East coast when she went to Yale for an additional two years to become a specialist in pediatric dentistry. She is specialty trained in prevention, development, trauma, sedation, and the comprehensive dental treatment of children and adolescents.
Dr. Kristine enjoys time at the beach, doing yoga, and volunteering in the community. She loves working at Lollipop and can’t wait to see you and your family soon!

Dr. Phillip
Dr. Phillip “Phill” Liu is a native of Southern California and attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) for both his undergraduate and doctorate studies. While attending UCLA School of Dentistry he was the recipient of the Regents Scholarship. After graduating from UCLA, Dr. Phill continued his training to specialize in pediatric dentistry at Case Western University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Phill is a busy father of three and appreciates the joys and challenges of parenting young children. When seeing patients he tries to treat each child like he would treat his own kids. At home Dr. Phill and his wife ( a Pediatrician) enjoy spending time with their kids and in his spare time he can be found either playing or coaching his kids in basketball.

Dr. Marcus
Dr. Marcus was born in Columbus, OH, but has lived a relatively nomadic lifestyle, living as far east as New Jersey to way out west in Hawaii. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology and graduated with honors from Pepperdine University in 2009. He then went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2013.
Dr. Marcus moved to Hawaii after dental school to work at a federally qualified health center serving the general public. It was there that he realized his love of working with the little ones. After three years in the rainbow state, he headed to the University of California Los Angeles to complete his specialty training in pediatric dentistry in 2018. Since graduating residency Dr. Marcus has split his days treating patients awake in the clinic setting and sleeping in the OR/anesthesia setting. He loves both and is happy to make sure the patient experience is top notch.
When Dr. Marcus isn’t working, he spends as much time outside as possible (anything involving water is the best!). He loves time with friends and meatheading in the gym. Dr. Marcus loves to stay happy and is always smiling!

Dr. Carly Tse

Dr. Mike Park
Dr. Mike Park grew up near Chicago, IL for most of his childhood until high school. He went to
study biological sciences at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. Thereafter, he moved to New
York City to receive his dental education at Columbia University. While in dental school, he
volunteered in multiple global outreaches in Guatemala and Mexico to treat children with limited
access to dental care, where he was inspired to specialize in pediatric dentistry. He then
completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at New York University. After completion
of his education, he moved to sunny southern California with his family.
Dr. Park focuses on providing comprehensive treatment tailored to the individual need of his
patients. He understands that not all children develop in the same manner, accounting for risk
factors and behavioral tendencies to create plans for his patients and parents. He is an active
member of ADA (American Dental Association), CDA (California Dental Association), and a
board eligible member of AAPD (American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry). His goal is to
always make the child feel at ease by striving to provide positive and fun memories at their visit
to the dentist. He enjoys watching and playing sports, especially basketball and soccer.

Dr. Kelley Hoang
Dr. Kelley Hoang is a board-certified pediatric dentist and was born and raised in Orange County, California. She attended the University of the Pacific where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. Following graduation, Dr. Hoang completed her General Practice Residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York where she also served as a general dentist providing restorative, endodontics, and removable prosthodontic dentistry services for both adult and pediatric patients. Motivated by her passion for working with children, Dr. Hoang completed a second residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. In the hospital setting, she received extensive training in treating children and adolescents, including those with special needs, using modern behavior management techniques such as sedation and general anesthesia. While in New York, she often treated pediatric patients in underserved communities and offered low-income patients complementary oral health screenings at pre-schools and at quarterly events in Brooklyn.
In late 2018, Dr. Hoang moved to London, United Kingdom with her family where she had the opportunity to build a more global perspective on pediatric oral healthcare while working at the National Health Services (NHS) in England and in a private practice.
Dr. Hoang is affiliated with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the British Society of Pediatric Dentistry. During her free time, Dr. Hoang enjoys travel, tennis, meditation, arts & crafts, and the culinary arts.

Dr. Kristine
Dr. Kristine grew up in Orange County and is happy to call sunny Southern California home! After becoming a Doctor of Dental Surgery at USC Dental School, she completed a general practice residency for patients with special needs at UCLA and a pediatric dentistry residency at Yale. Dr. Kristine Hong is a board certified pediatric dentist who has a passion for caring for children!Outside of dentistry, she loves the beach, doing yoga, and volunteering in the community. She loves working at Lollipop and can’t wait to see you and your family soon!
Orthodontists

Dr. Hideki Ikeda

Dr. Bethany Jung
Dr. Jung is originally a Texas gal, but moved to sunny SoCal for orthodontic residency where she met her wonderful husband Nick, who’s a physician at Kaiser. They are blessed to have one beautiful daughter. When Dr. Jung is not practicing orthodontics, she loves spending time with her husband and daughter, going to the beach, exploring new restaurants in LA, snowboarding, and traveling to new places.

Dr. Albert Soulema
He pursued his orthodontic training at New York’s esteemed St. Barnabas Hospital where he treated a variety of malocclusions while conducting research, and providing emergency on-call care at a level 1 trauma center. Dr. Soulema loves seeing how a perfect smile enhances the confidence of his patients and returns to Los Angeles to bring his skill sets to his own community.
In his free time, Dr. Soulema enjoys board games, playing the piano, spending time with his family, and exercising. He also gives back to the community, and has volunteered with various organizations in and around the Los Angeles area.

Dr. Oscar Reyna
Dr. Reyna was born and raised in southern Mexico. He moved to the United States with his family at 15 years old. He attended the University of Washington on a full academic scholarship where he received a Bachelor of Arts in business administration with a certificate in management. For his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, he attended the University of California, San Francisco’s Dental School where he was awarded the prestigious Dean’s Opportunity scholarship, given to only two members of each entering class. Following dental school graduation, he attended the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he completed his Masters Degree in oral biology with a certificate in orthodontics.
Dr. Reyna loved experiencing the east coast but is extremely grateful to be back in the west coast and working in southern California. In his spare time, he enjoys staying active by attending workout classes and going to the gym. As an advocate for the outdoors, he spends his free time exploring all the beautiful nature that California has to offer all along the coast.

Dr. Teresa Nguyen
Dr. Teresa Nguyen was born and raised in Orange County. She attended University of California, Irvine, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Upon graduation, Dr. Teresa pursued a career in the dental field. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UCLA, and it was during her time at UCLA that she found her passion in orthodontics. Following dental school graduation, she moved to Florida to pursue her orthodontic training at Jacksonville University where she obtained her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry.
Dr. Teresa loves seeing the positive impact she is able to provide by creating beautiful and healthy smiles. Being able to witness the change in confidence with a smile transformation motivates her to provide the best care possible every single day. She is grateful to have joined such a wonderful practice dedicated to providing excellent orthodontic care to the community.
Outside of the office, Dr. Teresa enjoys going on food adventures, hiking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
