Dr. Mary
Dr. Mary Regina Pham was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama and studied at Auburn University before attending dental school at the University of Southern California. While in dental school, Dr. Mary realized that pediatric dentistry was her passion! She became president of the Pediatric Dental Selective while at USC and organized the first-ever pediatric dental volunteer trip to Vietnam; which still goes on to this day! Dr. Mary then moved to Chicago, Illinois to complete an additional two years of specialty training in pediatric dentistry. She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, which means she is a part of a small percentage of pediatric dental specialists who are board-certified and have demonstrated exceptional knowledge and skill in the specialty of pediatric dentistry. Dr. Mary was named Top 40 Under 40 Dentists in America by Incisal Edge Magazine
Dr. Mary’s philosophy is to provide a warm, inviting, fun, and educational experience to you and your family with exceptional customer service. As a pediatric specialist who receives even the most challenging referrals from other dentists, she is trained to use kid-friendly words and a calm demeanor to make every dental experience an enjoyable one. One of the things that Dr. Mary absolutely loves about pediatric dentistry is having the opportunity to educate parents, patients, and expectant mothers on how to maintain a lifetime of healthy smiles.

Dr. Susan
Dr. Susan Do grew up just to our north in the infamous technology hub, Silicon Valley. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in microbial biology from UC Berkeley and went on to obtain her D.D.S. degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where she graduated with high honors and was elected to join the Tau Kappa Omega Dental Honor Society. As a board-certified pediatric dentist, Dr. Susan believes in early intervention and strives to create an atmosphere that is both fun and nurturing for her patients. She aims to create positive lifelong experiences and hopes her love for dentistry is equally infectious with her patients.
She is a devoted sports fan, particularly when it comes to the SF Giants, Golden State Warriors, and San Francisco 49ers. You can also expect to see Dr. Susan and her husband walking their two pups along the coast.

Dr. Wong
Dr. Kin Cho “Johnson” Wong is a board-certified pediatric dentist who received his training in pediatric dentistry at the Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital/Yale School of Medicine, which is a prestigious teaching institution in the northeast. Prior to that, he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from UCLA School of Dentistry, where he received the Southern California Society of Dentists for Children Award, given to one selected senior for his potential and accomplishment in the field of pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Wong has a compassionate and relatable approach with his patients and parents. With a conservative and comprehensive care philosophy, he is well trained in up-to-date treatment options for different restorations of baby and adult teeth and various behavior management modalities. His goal is to make the entire family feel welcomed, and to begin a positive culture of oral health starting at a young age for his patients.

Dr. Karla
Dr. Karla Basa was born and raised in Long Beach, California and received her degree in biological sciences from the University of Southern California where she graduated on the Dean’s List. A lifelong Trojan, Dr. Karla then continued her studies at USC Dental School where she obtained her D.D.S. degree. In dental school, Dr. Karla volunteered with the USC Mobile Clinic providing dental care to underserved children in the greater Los Angeles area, and it was during this time that she developed her love for pediatric dentistry. She also participated in humanitarian work abroad and volunteered in dental mission trips to Mexico and Honduras.
Dr. Karla is a board-certified pediatric dentist that understands that each child is special and strives to provide personalized care in a warm, inviting, and fun environment. She stays current with the latest information in pediatric dentistry by maintaining active memberships with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Harbor Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.
In her spare time, Dr. Karla enjoys going to concerts, reading, traveling and her favorite meal is brunch.

Dr. Gabby
Dr. Gabriela “Gabby” Cervantes was born and raised in Orange County, CA. With her father in education and her mother as a pediatrician, she was naturally drawn to healthcare. She graduated with the highest honors from California State University Long Beach with a B.S. in biology. She went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery and graduated from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry. She then completed her General Practice Residency at Harbor UCLA medical center where she was awarded “Resident of the Year.” After practicing for several years, she was blessed to find her true passion and received her pediatric dental specialty training at UCLA, where she also received the Award of Excellence Outstanding Resident, which is only given to one selected resident.
As a mother, Dr. Gabby is able to relate to parents and treats each patient as if they were her own children. She is glad to be back in Orange County serving the community.

Dr. Judy
Dr. Judy Yip was born and raised in the northern part of sunny California. She obtained her undergraduate degree at UC San Diego, receiving her D.D.S. at UCLA School of Dentistry, and completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Judy believes that pediatric oral health involves the entire family and aspires to make each dental visit a positive environment for all. Providing high-quality care is important to Dr. Judy, especially when it comes to patient education, dental treatment, and patient-provider relationships.
When Dr. Judy is not holding a handpiece, you can find her keeping busy with DIY projects, hiking, relaxing at the beach, or playing tennis.

Dr. Rakhee
Dr. Rakhee Mody was born and raised in a small suburb of New Jersey. She attended The College of New Jersey and graduated magna cum laude with a major in biology. She subsequently attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, PA.
During her time in dental school, she realized her passion for working with children and decided to pursue a pediatric dental speciality. Dr. Rakhee completed her pediatric dental residency at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia/University of Pennsylvania where she received extensive training in hospital dentistry and caring for medically compromised patients. Following graduation, she moved to Southern California with her husband to work in private practice.
Outside of work, Dr. Rakhee and her husband are keeping busy with their newborn son. When not changing diapers or catching up on sleep, they enjoy going to the beach, hiking, and traveling. Dr. Rakhee is excited to serve the Placentia community and provide your family with the best dental care at Lollipop Dental!

Dr. Kristine
Dr. Kristine grew up in Orange County and is happy to call sunny Southern California home! She went to UCLA for her undergraduate degree in Psychobiology and earned her degree as a Doctor in Dental Surgery at USC where she found a passion for helping children through dentistry through local outreaches with Mobile Clinic as well as abroad. In addition to her many extracurricular endeavors, she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a prestigious national dental honor society inviting only the top 12% of graduating dental students.
With a passion for further education, she completed an additional year long hospital residency at UCLA where she trained with anesthesiologists, oral surgeons, and her colleagues in the medical community for advanced training in treating patients with special needs.
Dr. Kristine spent some time on the East coast when she went to Yale for an additional two years to become a specialist in pediatric dentistry. She is specialty trained in prevention, development, trauma, sedation, and the comprehensive dental treatment of children and adolescents.
Dr. Kristine enjoys time at the beach, doing yoga, and volunteering in the community. She loves working at Lollipop and can’t wait to see you and your family soon!
